Coach Graydon Finn
Graydon Finn is a purple belt at Southside BJJ, where he teaches both the kids’ program and the 6 a.m. adult class. He began his jiu-jitsu journey in 2019 as a white belt and brings a lifelong background in grappling to his teaching. Graydon started wrestling in first grade and continued through high school, later coaching youth and high school wrestling for a combined 11 years. He also holds a green belt in judo.
Graydon specializes in working with kids and beginners, with a strong focus on teaching movement principles and mechanics in ways that are easy to understand and apply. He’s passionate about the learning process and takes pride in helping new students reach that “lightbulb moment” when things start to click.
As a smaller grappler himself, Graydon emphasizes technical precision and efficiency—equipping students with practical, adaptable skills that translate well both on the mats and in life.
